How we handle intellectual property and takedown requests
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Our Commitment to Intellectual Property
Property Guide Online respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects everyone who uses this website to do the same. This policy explains how copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property are handled on this website, and how rights owners can ask us to review or remove content.
Third-Party Trademarks & Brand Names
Brand names, product names and logos that appear on this website belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify the brands, products or services concerned (nominative fair use under Section 30 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999) and their presence does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the trademark owner unless expressly stated.
If you are a trademark owner and believe your mark is being used in a misleading way, or you would like to manage or remove your brand's listing, please file a trademark complaint.
User-Submitted Content
Parts of this website host content submitted by users and business partners (for example listings, media, reviews and profiles). Property Guide Online acts as an intermediary for such content within the meaning of Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not pre-approve user submissions, but we act on valid complaints in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
By submitting content, users confirm they own the necessary rights or have permission to share it, and grant us a licence to display it on this website.
Filing a Copyright Takedown Notice
A valid takedown notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or a link to it)
- The URL of the content on this website you want reviewed
- Your name, organisation (if any) and contact details
- A good-faith declaration that you are the rights owner or an authorised agent
- Evidence of ownership where available (registration, original publication, etc.)
Submit your notice through our grievance form — you will receive a reference number immediately. Notices are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. Content that is the subject of a court order or a direction from an authorised government agency is actioned on the timelines in that order.
Counter-Notices & Disputes
If your content was removed following a complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may respond through the same grievance process with evidence of your rights. The Grievance Officer will review both claims before making a final decision.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content may have their upload privileges suspended or their accounts terminated.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
